Celebrating Earth Day with No Gas

In 2018 I did not know if we could ever change the world and celebrate, but maybe we can. After four and a half years and 106,000 miles traveling all across the eastern half of the United States I can state unequivocally that the system works. Electric vehicles are here to stay and will soon beat out gasoline vehicles on every level. Fewer parts means lower cost and higher reliability, and performance, wow, you cannot beat an electric vehicle. This is my Tesla, a 2018 Model 3 from the first run of the all wheel drive edition. Why did I buy?

No gas, I was sick of the oil industry dominating the market and polluting our Earth, the smog in the air, the oil spills destroying our oceans and coastlines, gross. And then there was the politics of it all, and the fact that we still cannot hold some people accountable for their atrocities simply because we need their oil. I think that is going to change. With every major automobile company either producing or planning to produce an electric fleet of vehicles there is finally hope. Hope for a more peaceful future, hope for a cleaner environment, and hope for our home planet, Earth.

Happy Earth Day everyone!
