March Test Run

In March I did our first long distance test run of my 2018 Model 3 up to Chicago Illinois and back home to Huntsville Alabama over a weekend as a precursor to this Architectural tour. We ended up flying to Chicago and then renting a car for an excursion from Chicago out to the Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin Preservation in Spring Green Wisconsin. In 2019, getting to Chicago and back was not an issue as there were adequate charging stations along the Interstate routes, but travel out in the countryside like to Spring Green although possible was not a direct route and required out of the way stops for charging.
