Smitherman Family Tree

Father’s side of the family since 1653 A.D.

The Smitherman family tree dates back to Samuel Smytheman 1653–1731 in Britain, and his grandson, Samuel Smytherman 1723–1797, the first Smitherman to come over from Britain to the American Colonies. My DNA analysis indicates strong relationships to the British Isles and surrounding coastal regions dating back to the 1100s. Those regions include Finland and northwestern Europe and some coastal areas around the Mediterranean Sea.
